Artist’s notes:
Rupert (the Slug) is a character I like to usually pick on what with him being a soft and utterly helpless Slug. Here though, you can see he’s being a bit pissy. And, for a good reason: Salt can kill him! Salt doesn’t want to do that though, he’s a good guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. Tequila is trying to act as middle ground here. He needs to protect his friend Salt but also let Rupert know that his misconceptions about Salt are completely untrue. Oh and, that little slice of lime is Tequila’s pet. Isn’t he a cutie?
